Elderly Life Quality Should Be Improved

The elder's life quality in Central Jakarta will be improved as an effort to preserve the cultural values of the nation. The statement itself is initiated by Central Jakarta Administration.

This is also a form of respect from the young people to the elderly and giving a chance to actualize themselves ( (the elderly) in various aspects of life

“This is also a form of respect from the young people to the elderly and giving a chance to actualize themselves ( (the elderly) in various aspects of life,” said Mayor of Central Jakarta, Mangara Pardede when he attended the 19th Nation Elderly Day (HLUN) in Karang Anyar Flat, Sawah Besar, Tuesday (6/9).

Pardede acknowledged such attention is solely not in the celebration day. That is why, he wants the poor elderly to be given special attention, such as by providing food, medical check-up, etc.

After attending the activity, he and his wife, Rintje Mangara Pardede also took the time to greet with the elderly and took a picture together.
